We've been on the other side of the process too.
Our ALTIA story comes from something we know first-hand: starting from zero somewhere else. We've studied, worked and built part of our lives outside Spain: the United States, Australia, Brazil, Peru… We've had to adapt to new environments, make decisions from a distance, face unfamiliar paperwork, and take on the personal, financial and emotional effort that comes with settling in a different country.
Long before creating ALTIA, our experience grew across different law firms and legal environments, where we had the chance to work together and get to know closely the needs of the people, professionals and companies who face immigration processes every day.
Over time, we realised we wanted to build something different: a firm that combined our legal expertise with something you can't learn in an office — having lived, ourselves, what it means to move your life or your business to another country. That's how ALTIA was born.
